What I’ve learned along the way

As someone who has argued for the value of design at the C-level, I know how to craft compelling stories based on business performance. My experience founding and growing a design team taught me about vulnerability and hiring the right people. Bringing multiple new products to market taught me the value of talking every week with your customers. Working as a principal designer and later a manager in a complex domain, and at a large company, taught me how to build consensus between VPs, Directors, and other stakeholders.
